Understanding how a broken childhood can stop you from stability, happiness and success.

Some of us are a mess, broken and on our last legs. We’ve behaved recklessly with drugs, alcohol and even sex. We think we don’t deserve to feel happy and we’ve buried our light under a ton of shame.

We may have been born into a hostile world. It was not our fault. We did what we could to survive, as any child would do. We couldn’t be ourselves so we molded ourselves into whatever we thought would keep us alive. Our legacy? We live with a constant barrage of negative thoughts.

Now, as adults, we find ourselves standing at a crossroads. Can I get better? Can I ever be happy? Am I worth it?
